Alyssa is a fourth year Biological Sciences major at the University of California, Davis. She started volunteering at the CRC back in 2024. Through her time volunteering and working at the CRC, she realized her passion for wildlife conservation (and all things birds!) and now plans on pursuing graduate research related to the conservation of native bird species. She also had the opportunity to work with songbirds, mammals, and raptors during an internship at Napa Wildlife Rescue. She enjoy birdwatching, hiking, and writing stories in her free time.
