Self-Guided Tours

COVID-19 UPDATE

The California Raptor Center is temporarily closed to the public. We are working hard on a reopening plan and look forward to welcoming visitors back soon. Please continue to check our website and social media for updates.

Self-Guided Tours

This option is the best fit for: Individuals, Families, Friends, Small groups (fewer than 6 people)

The CRC is open for self-guided tours during all hours of operation (M-F 9-4, Sa 9-12). Our non-releasable raptors are on the tour route, with informative placards describing each bird and its personal story. The Museum is also open for self-guided tour visitors. (Sorry, the rehabilitation section is not open to the public.)

Please keep self-guided tour groups to 6 people or fewer to minimize stress to the birds.

Have a large group and want to visit the CRC? Please call or email the Education Office to schedule a on-site presentation or off-site presentation if you have a group of more than 6 people. PLEASE NOTE: The rotation of small groups through the Center (as part of an unscheduled larger group) is not permitted.

There is no charge for entry or parking.
